Alright I bought this motor right before summer time for a gocart project I was building. It is a 5 hp briggs motor with a 3/4 horizontal shaft that is tapped and keyed. It started up for me nice and easy and has good compression. However I was unable to adjust the carb properly and it would keep stalling out. Yet it starts up easy. Me not being a mechanic took it to someone and they said it needs a new carb and possibly a new gas tank. I dont feel like putting money into this motor so I am going to sell it here. It is missing the cheap air filter it came with. If i can find it I will include it.Being sold as is. If you have any questions please let me know and I will attempt to answer.
